At Mitchell Sustainability, we provide practical consulting and project support focused on waste management, circular economy, and resource recovery. We work closely with councils and organisations to understand local conditions, regulatory requirements, and operational constraints, and to deliver solutions that are realistic, evidence-based, and fit for purpose.
Our approach combines strategic advice with hands-on delivery. From business case development and trials through to implementation and reporting, we support projects from concept to completion, with a strong focus on regional and place-based outcomes.

Waste Management
We support councils and organisations with practical waste management planning and delivery. This includes service reviews, infrastructure planning, and operational improvements across kerbside, transfer stations, and processing facilities.
Organics & Composting Progects
We provide specialist support for organics and composting projects, particularly in regional contexts. This includes trial design, community scale project coordination, and end-use testing, delivered in collaboration with councils and local stakeholders.
Circular Economy
We help organisations design circular economy solutions that keep materials in use for longer. This includes market development, reuse and recovery pathways, and integrating circular principles into waste and resource systems.
Project Planning & Delivery
We provide hands-on project delivery for waste and sustainability initiatives, from concept through to implementation. This includes trial design, business case development, data collection and analysis, reporting, and on-ground support to inform sound decision-making.
